In 2014 Stephanie made her Off-Broadway playwrighting debut as co- author of 17 ORCHARD POINT the production, in which she also starred opposite Tony Award Winner Michele Pawk, played at The Beckett Theater and was directed by Stella Powell-Jones. She has been a featured contributor for two books: Acting Teachers of America: A Vital Tradition and Performance of the Century: 100 Years of Actors Equity Association.


Stephanie’s most recent play LEVITY had its world premiere workshop production in January at the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center. The play was directed by Stella Powell-Jones and starred stage and screen favorites Michele Pawk (Tony Winner), Carolyn McCormick (Law and Order), David Alford (Nashville) and John McGinty (Children of a Lesser God).



Is our greatest legacy what we build?  Or what we have chosen to destroy? … Dawn and Adam are trying to grieve their father in peace, but peace is hard to come by when your father was music icon Rick Hayes and millions of fans grieve alongside you. Further complicating their dilemma, the Hayes children receive a surprise visit from his first wife and former bandmate, Connie, who has come in search of closure… and cash. The one-time-rock-goddess-turned-recluse claims to have a shocking story about their famous father they simply won’t believe. Or will they? Now all those left behind must face the real cost of Rick Hayes’ creativity and the consequences of protecting it.
