I currently reside in Nashville, TN, where I unironically wear cowboy boots and big hats (shout out to Miron Crosby and Courtney Green).

When I’m not creating you can usually find me volunteering at the local branches of Gilda’s Club and CreatiVets; two organizations near and dear to my heart.

THAT PICTURE BELOW IS A LITTLE ME WITH A BUNCH OF GAINT HEADLESS TUNA …

Born and raised on the sunny beaches of Southern California, I had many failed attempts at being both a surfer and a blonde.  My family has spent over one hundred years in the fishing industry.  It’s wild, salty, stinky, and awesome.  How I became an artist is still a mystery.

At sixteen, I won a trip to perform Shakespeare at storied Lincoln Center, and it was love at first sight.  I went on to receive my B.A. in Theater from Fordham University at Lincoln Center, and Lincoln Center was where I made my Broadway debut in a new play by John Guare directed by George C. Wolfe. (Who doesn’t love a full cirlce moment? Side note, I also share a birthday with Abe Lincoln. What?!)  Shortly after college I earned my MFA from NYU’s Graduate Acting Program, and to this day I still have to explain to my fish family why yoga and circus were mandatory classes

Teaching has always been one of my deepest passions (in addition to fried chicken, old boring books and weirdly, not fishing).   For nine years I served on the acting faculty of my alma mater Fordham University, and most recently in the film department of Belmont University.  I’m also the founding Program Director of the Big Sky Theater Workshop in Big Sky, Montana.
